Parting out my 2000 civic ex
-----My Girlfriend just wrecked my car on 3-30-05. I just got it out and towed to my friend's shop and I decided it would be better to part out the civic so I can save up for an integra. I always wanted to put an integra engine into the civic, but not now. I bought the car new in Dec. 99' and have changed ALL oil changes with fully synthetic oil by myself. (also a good oil filter) The engine sounds great. At 60,000 I adjusted the valves and tightened the lifters and did an engine flush. It has 86,000 miles on it. Which is not many at all because I always used to brag to people how it sounds new with absolutely no ticking. (other than the 'honda tick') I just ordered a brand new clutch on the 28th of march and it was wrecked on the 30th. I am selling all parts including rims and tires.I live in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for those nearby. Just send me an e-mail at Thatroughniggadave@yahoo.com ... I will write you back or give you my number to call me about shipping or whatever. *** Rear altezza lights, muffler, kyb agx adjustables, cheap coilover springs, brand new powerslot rotors and bendix pads new air filter on existing Akimoto intake, Side skirts, seats, dash, windows. Other stuff too. I have never been in this predicament before. I am posting this because I am up early right now. I will take pictures with my digital and should have them on my computer to send to you just email me if interested. P.S. Should i buy an LS and have my friends hook it up with a vtec head(which they say is better) or should I save more for the gsr and leave it alone. I just want 175 whp with intake exhaust and headers. Thank you.

Since this is a for sale thread, I have moved it to proper forum, the classifieds forum. I am sorry to hear that happened to your car.

------Right now, I just took the engine out. I have an 88 civic hatchback and it has a 89hp 1.5liter. I was THINKING about swapping the 127 in there. I have yet to go to the shop to take pics. I guess I posted it a bit early, but you know i am new to this site and new to parting out a car. I will post pics soon. thanks.

Ok, so the complete engine is for sale. Sohc 1.6 vtec with 86,000 dirt-free-oil miles. Many highway. I am asking 500$ for the engine and tranny and included parts. Sorry, I can't sell just the block or head. But for 500 if that's what you're looking for, the engine is in great shape.

$500 for the motor eh? ECU as well? Manual or Automatic?
I could use a road trip to Florida if the price is right.... Also, lets talk about the power window system...switches, door panels, motors, regulator arms, whole system.... wheel1856@hotmail.com

Basically the whole thing is there except the hood and frame are bent. My friend at the shop just took off the door panels i think. My girl's got my phone until later.. (i broke hers) i just put a new ecu in it too. I will email you with my phone # because this is a little more time consuming.

I don't know what kind of muffler it is, but it sounds great! ----- I'd have to go to the shop and look at it. My friends there are too busy putting turbos in ls/vtecs. They just want me to sell all the stuff and get rid of the frame to give them space.

Re: Parting out my 2000 civic ex
I have generation 2 altezza lights. i am trying not to post until i have pics. i have no car, but as soon as my girlfriend has a day off (she's working extra now) then I'll take my digital elphi up there to take pics. Sanyo tape/cd player regular size though. I tried to upload a pic of the car, but i couldn't. my email is thatroughniggadave@yahoo.com if you want to email me rather than post then jump around from email to forum.
