Is that dash painted or dyed or recovered? Im gonna shy away from using white and keep the interior colors black and silver/grey(the two colors in that car). How hard and how long would it take to get something like this done and could i do it myself?
Does anyone know where I can get white reverse gauges for a 98 civic DX auto that is km/h not mph? |

It looks dyed, but I can't say for sure. And yes, you can probably do it yourself. My friend dyed his civic interior all himself, here's some pics of it
I also painted my dash, door panels, and trunk, here's some pics everything that is white used to be cream I still have more to do, this is just what i have done so far here's the trunk, it all used to be cream also

Do you think I could dye my top dash the same color grey/silver as he has on his seats? What is the best processs and materials to use for recovering, dying and painting interiors?
I am planning on doing it all myself little by little. Im gonna keep my colors to grey/silver and black with blue lighting. |

Ive read through pretty much every thread that has been started about interiors. There was one where the guy had airbrushed his plastics with white ice pearl. Whats the best kind of primer, paint and gloss to use for plastics. I dont want it to turn out like the stories ive heard about chipping and fading and stuff. Any help is much appreciated.
BTW your friends and your interiors are tight, one day i hope to have my entire interior customized, right down to dying the seat belts . |

What I wanna know is, whats the resale value on a car that has painted interior, I know I wouldnt get a car that had a shitty one, but if it was halfway decent and not too crazy I would go for it.

I saw this part on a car show on speed TV and they were talking about how you can get your car appraised by someone and they take into account for bodywork and all of that so when u try to sell it you get what its worth.
