'85 Park Avenue, Drum Wheel Cylinder

Hello,
I have to change a wheel cylinder on a 1985 Buick Park Avenue, 3.8
Where can I get a visual aid in 'seeing' a proper or new wheel cylinder in place or being replaced?

This is actually connected TO the brake fluid line, correct?

any suggestions as to how to go about diconnecting it without having to change the line as well? It's quite rusty.

And why do "shops" (i.e. Precision Tune, Midas, Car-X, Tires Plus) not tell customers they need extensive brake repair?
This car was "inspected" and the pass side would not come off, so we're pretty sure they didn't "inspect" that side. However, the driver side did come off but was 'damp'. Thinking it was WD-40(lug nuts TIGHT!) that soaked through, we find it WAS the wheel cylinder.
Sorry but want to give as much detail as possible.

thanks for any advice you can spare me!

Check at autozone.com/repairinfo, enter your cars id and go to brakes, you will get the basics there. In the future post these questions in the Park Ave forum for more responses.

This thread has been moved to the Park Avenue forum.

It is old but not really a Classic.
