Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years
... please count me it with a 1979 312 T4.
It was a hard decision - I'm currently lost in managing my addiction to 1/12 Ferraris. I was considering some other 1/12 cars as well:

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years
Well I got some good inspiration today, went to a car show and sat in a 360 modena spyder, got a picture of me, the wife and my daughter sitting in it...man she sat nice. Picked up some ferrari shirts, and sat in a Porsche Cayman(damn I fit into it just a little too nicely..lol) anyway updates hopefully coming this week on my entries..

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years
I wanted to answer in a thread 1 or 2 days ago and needed to try several times all the afternoon till it worked...
I think there is a general problem, even rallyraider had problems to moderate a post if I read well... Phil |

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years
Dont' start a WIP, I think it would be a better show if all the builds were kept secret until show day...mine are anyway.

You mean you won't start a WIP? Oh god I was waiting for your WIP... I think tigeraid was right. It's a fun, not only a finished model but the whole course. BTW may I ask what's your entry please? |

I don't think it's really possible for such a contest, where most of the fun is to share and follow original builds as incredible jewels, from street cars to racing beasts. your idea may be fun for showing a build result, not with WIP... that's my opinion. Phil (who start his build but not his WIP, I take some adance on building ! ) |

Having said that, I still believe it would be MORE fun and in the spirt of the tribute to see lots of Ferrari WIPs on an on-going basis throughout the year. At least it will help ensure that there are more rather than less entries (I think I was the pessimist Tang had in mind with the 25% number he mentioned earlier ) Anyway, the WIP I am unable to start is for the Super 7 group build NOT the Ferrari tribute (we'll see what the ratio of completed entries to declared participation is in THAT group build ... )

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years
hmm..well that was discouraging, I just spent the better part of an hour unsuccessfully trying to super glue a warped(and reshaped) resin MSM Stradale front bumper and side skirts to my 360 kit...I guess I need to get rid of the mold release first, then get a new container of super glue and some accelerator...oh well, at least I did get some paint sprayed onto the block... as soon as I can get some pics I will post some threads up of my work....

In watching a WIP thread it is nice to see progress and how things are done but torward the end of the WIP thread you basically see the finished product ergo not much of a surprise. It was just a thought I had. Carry on my Red friends!
