Okay okay, you've dragged it out of me...I'm going to build three Ferrari's... which will be brought to you in the three Acts, two of them unnatural.

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

hmmm 3 Veyron built Ferraris, this will be interesting.....

update on my stuff for now..I got some super glue accelerator, and got that MSM bumper and side skirts mounted last night!, I've got some body work to do now to smooth it all out, but they are on. I'm still trying to decide what to do about the hatch though, since the one in my tk has shrunk(both in width and length). Anyway thats all for now, good luck guys

I saw on one site that you can just remove the stock hood, and modify it like the CS one.

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

totally random post.
for a long time now, I've been slowly carving up an old revell 365 boxer kit and equally slowly going through the process of scratching up a decent looking rear subframe for it so that I can fit in the engine block from the tamiya testarossa kit.
just this minute i've received the shipping notice for the new fujimi 365 boxer kit.
I am hoping to God that it isn't as good as it is looking.....

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

I'm gonna have to join in on such a special occasion.

This will be an excellent opportunity to inject some new life into a project of mine - the F50 GT

I need to revamp my 360 Challenge Stradale kit too so I'll add that to the mix and hopefully get them both finished in time.

so... are you going to build a superamerica or are you going to transplant the drivetrain for a detailed 550?

Howdy; I'm gonna build a Superamerica since the 575 is basically finished pending the arrival of the side marker lights and a replacement windshield The superamerica is molded in white! and the fitment so far is great!!

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

As I'm waiting for my 1:43 kits to arrive I'm going to build a 1:24 model first, some thing I haven't done in about 5 years! The car in question will be a TdF blue mica 599GTB from the Revell of Germany kit. I saw it in a local model shop on the weekend and couldn't resist. I'll start a progress thread tomorrow when I get time to take some pictures. In the mean time I've modified the logo so that there's at least one 'not red' Ferrari

BTW - This is my first ever linked image from fotki, so I hope it works...
