problem with new halo headlights

i just bought sum new halo headlights for my 98 civic and the left projector beam is messed up or sumtng bcus at night when its turned on thers like a square light on the ground in front of the car. i think the projector has to be adjusted or sumtn but i duno. the right one is fine but the left one is not. its like sumtn is blockn the bulb cus thers like a shadow in the street its wierd can any one help me pleaz! cus its pizzn me off

could be the shield... could be the adjustment.... try adjusting it and see if it gets better....

i have tryed to adjust them but notng hapns. i tryed to loosen the screws from the back a lil and the light started smoking and turned off then i tightnd them and notng happnd the projector didnt move or anything.

Unfortunatly, that's the problem with these Ebay parts. They're cheaply made and honestly, junk. See if you can send it back due to defectiveness.

ive actually had 2 sets of ebay halos...and both worked and adjusted fine... id send them back sayin they are defective

there should be adjuster screws near the top of the housing in back. Not the ones that hold the bulb steady, this screw should be higher up and probably looks useless. Adjust it slowly while the lights are on and pointed at a wall.

If the alignment is completely out of whack then adjusting won't help. And depending on how cheaply made these are, you may not even have adjuster screws.

Its easy to make cheap knock-off headlights and taillights and flip em on ebay so you gotta be careful who you buy from. Whats the brand name or seller name?
