ok i dunno if this is a joke but i kno igor started naming mods after we finally rebeled in the dsm forums and demanded them, and as far as i kno the only reason we have mods now was because igor was to busy or something like that.

it seems fishy but at the same time it doesn't. i mean with people being appointed as mods because igor was to busy makes it seem like this could be real but at the same time i dunno why he would shut down such a popular site that helps so many peeps.

and i'm in on donating money to keep af.com alive if this is tru.

i hope and pray tho that this is an april fools joke. af.com can't just go out like this. but i/everyone won't kno till it happens or not.

thanks for the great experience here on af.com if the site goes down.

if af.com goes down we all should have a moment of silence to honor it and then drink a lil liquor for it as well.

man this is incredibly sad. i have come to love this site, especially the sketching and drawing forum. its helped me so much. i very much doubt this was a joke, as much as i want it to be. btw, if u visit the sketching forum much, i made a "final thread" for it. :*(

If this is for real... why not then ad som sponsors to the sight... i mean it is a lot of people that are on this page every day... and a site as this could be a big investment for anny company...


And I ame in to help af if it is needed... i mean i think meny peopels ar... if it cost a´bout $10 to be a member of af... then I atleast will pay.

I may not have had a high post count, but I was always impressed with the timely and informative repsonses that I got, regardless of what was posted andin what section it was in. There is no other site out there that has all this amount of information in such a tightly nit society. Its awesome to see so many people gather together to keep this place alive, and if someone will post how to donate money, ( I don't have a credit card... so it would have to be mailed) but AF has $100.00USD of my money to keep this place alive.

you know, I just did a search for automotiveforums.com on yahoo.... and came back with over 100,000 hits..... alot of places recommend this site for others to go and get the information that they need. there has got to be a way to nab partnerships, or new sponsors....
