02 Alero Signal flashers

This question has probably appeared before but my signal flashers (specifically the signal control switch) have been rapidly decreasing in functionality. That is, THEY HAVE STOPPED WORKING!! Because this is a safety related issue, is it possible to force my dealership to make the repairs (and foot the bill) even though the car is out of warranty? If not, is this a simple repair? I have some electrical knowledge, but I want to be sure that before I tackle anything perhaps I can get the pros to handle it for free

Re: 02 Alero Signal flashers

To replace the turn signal switch it is a DIY job. We should have some old threads that touch on how to do it.

If your Alero is out of warranty the dealer probably won't help and it is about 7 years old now.
