you guys have to see this

I know it isn't model related, but I think since you are all car guys at heart, you NEED to see this.

I recieved an email from my sister in law and this is what it said:

A New York man retired. He wanted to use his retirement money wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal. The modest farmhouse had been vacant for 15 year.; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs. The house was sold to pay taxes. There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded shut. Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property
anyway......so, nobody made an offer on the place. The New York guy bought it at just over half of the property's
worth, moved in, and set about to tear in to the barn.......curiosity was killing him.

So, he and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of grinders.......and cut thru the welds. What was in the barn...............?

click the link, and see what he and his wife unknowingly purchased.
click me and see

When the picture comes up, click next to see all the cool stuff he unknowingly purchased.

Hoax or not, that is unbelievable to have to your name. Sad they sit there. Maybe in 30 more years when that guy dies someone will do something with them?!

Re: you guys have to see this

yeah, I found out shortly after posting on my nissan forums that it was a made up story, but that's ok. I agree that it is awesome that one person owns all of those cars. I just wish I could have like 2 or 3 of them! haha For that matter I just wish I could have a shop that could hold more than 3 cars! haha

WOW Thats got to be one of the best surprises anyone has ever come across.

Sure, its a bit of a surprise to win hundreds of millions on a lottery ticket (but heck, it was bought with the intent of winning) but to come across a cache like this is one in a billion.

I just want the Volkswagen Bug. Looks like a Super Beetle, around 1970.
