head rests
I want to get some head rests with the holes so I can put racing harnesses in them. Anyone have some to sell or know which ones will work on my 96 civic hatch? SOme guy has some from a Passport or a Pilot or Crv but I don't know if they will work. He only wants 15 bucks and that is better than buying race seats and all that for hundreds of dollars. Plus the cops around here in WNY look for that and pick on the racers.

Re: head rests
I wouldnt do that because if you crash your putting all that force on a headrest. With a real racing seat its all one peice. If you car flips or something the head rest might come out and thats the end of it.

Re: head rests
Do not mount harnesses to the floor pan bolts. Get a harness bar. They need to be mounts at shoulder level, or they car compress your spine if you get in a wreck. If you are lucky you will have only injuries...because a compressed spine can kill you. Be smart. Spend the money and do it right, or don't do it.
