struts
Hello,
I'm looking at replacing the factory installed struts on my 2000 GT. I've seen in one or two other post that ZZP offers a set of 4 "OEM Replacement Struts" for $159. I emailed customer service and they tell me that they are "brand new GM pieces." Has anyone purchased these and installed them? How did they work out? This price seems too good to be true, which makes me suspicious... (After re-reading my post, I realize that this might look like spam...this is not my intention) Last edited by tick822; 02-24-2009 at 12:12 PM. |

Re: struts
Also, is there an easy way to determine if the springs need to be replaced as well? The car has 133k miles on it. (I'm planning on doing the mounts)

Re: struts
We don't consider your post spam so there is no problem with that. The OE struts from ZZP are great deal. Go for it. For the strut coil springs look for excessive corrosion or rust which may cause the coil to break. The strut coil springs can be reused but you can check the spring height against FSM specs just to be sure.
