Re: help!

That really depends on the area and the type of people. I for one get together with some car guys and hang out for lunch or a BBQ sort of thing. We don't get together simple to race. When I do street race it's spontaneous light to light pulls. I might race someone from a roll on the freeway if it's empty, but NO, absolutely no weaving or driving like that in heavy traffic.

The rest of time is on the track.

I'm sure there are people that get together for organized street racing like it The Fast and the Furious, but not many here.

I just got back from a sweet rave party/street race. Bitchs 'n Ho's all up in there!

Oh... wait, that was Need for Speed: Underground. Yeah, no big gatherings here.

Re: help!

My only suggestion would be to pick up a movie called "Vehicular Lunatics". Love that movie/documentary.

Seemed what most nights were like for me back in the day. But that was just me.

Re: help!

I've always heard the best writers have lived what they write. So it may be better to write what you know...

Re: help!

Good point, lightbalt... You may ask the wrong people and write a story that is nothing close to what it is actually like. I say go out and experience it first hand. Thats the best way to get an understanding for something.
