Turn off Running Lights
98 Regal LS
Is it possible to turn off the running lights? If so, how would you do that? Thanks |

Re: Turn off Running Lights
Assuming you are referring to the daytime running lights (DRL). The easiest way to disable DRL is you can remove the fuse marked DRL located in the passenger side fusebox of the dash. However, you will lose the auto headlight function and then will have to manually turn the headlights on or off.

Re: Turn off Running Lights
I tried this, and the car wouldn't start. Did I miss a step?

Re: Turn off Running Lights
Does this also work on a 2001? I looked in the passenger side panel and under hood panel but did not see a fuse dedicated to drl.

Re: Turn off Running Lights
I asked once before but with no answer, but does this work for a 2001 regal? I could not locate a fuse dedicated to just the drl feature.

Re: Turn off Running Lights
I have a 98 buick regal and all I did was pull fuse 13 in the right panel fuse block. DRLs went out and it also disabled the automatic headlights. Both problems solved with one fuse pull.
