Alclad and HOK in Canada

Hi

Anyone know when I can get Alclad II Paint in Canada.
Most of the store I usually buy don't ship paint outside USA

Also, if someone know where to get House of Kolor paint in 2oz/4oz bottle in Canada, that could be very usefull.

oh and yes, I did a search

Looks like we're in the same boat Vric! Wish I could help you, after all you helped me in my C/F search...but the best I can offer is going to a local auto painters, and ask for them to fill a small jar of HOK for you.

Hi Vric, I buy my Alclad from my LHS here in Calgary. He does buy/sell kits and stuff so he might be able to sell you some Alclad paints if you email him. The shop is Uncle Bill's Hobby, website is Uncle Bill's I hope this helps you.

I know you are in Quebec, that's why I gave you the link to his website. Email him and ask if he will send you some, or find out who his Canadian supplier is. HTH. Mike

Re: Alclad and HOK in Canada

Hee hee, that's my friend's dad store The owner is Rick Chin. Talk to him, he's really nice. They usually carry super rare Japanese kits and some kits are priced very nicely. You can also get the full line of Alclad down at Hobby West (also here in Calgary!). Stuff isn't cheap though. If you guys visit Calgary, I'll personally give you a hobby shop tour!! These guys have a toll free number:

Re: Alclad and HOK in Canada

Vric,

I know Rick at Uncle Bills in Calgary too. He does a lot of business by email and over the internet, so it would be worth giving him a call or sending an email.

He's a good guy to ask if you're looking for rare/special kits. He has lots of unique/rare stuff in stock and can get just about anything you might want.

Shipping stuff from Calgary to Quebec might not be the best option, but it's worth a shot.

Murray
