Urgent wont start/security

My security feature is causing the car not to start. Does anyone know how to reset the thing so my wife who is stuck 80 miles away can get it going again. Please Help

Wait 10 minutes with key in ON until light goes off. Then turn ignition to OFF. Then try to start engine. You may have to repeat a few times.

Re: Urgent wont start/security

This worked for me. Car cranked fine but no fire. Left key on for ten minutes security lite cleared started right up. Thanks for the info.
