Re: 1:24 BEO Wheels

look on HLJ.com and search for wheels, in the 1/24 1/25 scales. They usually have small pics that you can just browse through and find similar wheels...or even identical wheels that are a different name.

If you can't find them, make them, they look pretty easy to fab up.

Thanks For The Reply, I Checked HLJ But Nothing, Do You Know Any Other Good Sites That Sell Wheels?

It'll Be Too Hard To Make Them Good, It Wud Look Better If The Were Bought..

Re: 1:24 BEO Wheels

What size are you looking for, and what kit are you working on? The wheels in the Fujimi kit measure out to about 16" in 1:24. If you're using the Revell kits that are 1:25, they will appear to be slightly larger. I have a set that I'm not going to use, I can send them to you if you promise to stop capitalizing every word in your post

Sorry, not a great picture. I really need to figure out my fiancee's camera. It's way nicer than mine, but I can't shoot for shot. If you're interested, PM your address and I'll throw them in the post Monday.

Re: 1:24 BEO Wheels

y'know, I've been wanting to have a better look at these wheels too.
From the looks of, it's not a true representation of the Civic Type-R wheel

and more like the NSX-R wheel

Too bad because I was hoping to use them to replicate these

for a long standing project.

Re: 1:24 BEO Wheels

@ Drunken Monkey. Just a little filing and some careful drilling should make a really good representation. Or just make the spokes yourself. Really it isn't THAT hard to do.

Make one set of spokes (just one of the sets of 2, you know what I mean?)

cast that spoke in some orange RTV from the auto parts store

mix up some THIN epoxy and start making lots of spokes (enough to make one wheel)

find a suitable rim hoop and center (lugs and what not), glue your new spokes and center in and get to work sanding and finishing.

Once you are satisfied, use that same orange RTV (after you clear coated your "master") make a mold and pop out 4 identical wheels.

I know this sounds like a LOT of work, but if you want something unique that looks good, that's what it takes.

Re: 1:24 BEO Wheels

And you know what, now that you say that, these might actually be from the NSX kit. I can't remember!
