   So true, Devil. So true.

Well, they say that the Magnum concept is going to production. It's a RWD statin wagon (that they're calling an "activity vehicle to avoid negative connotations and win over SUV buyers) powered by the new Hemi and with all around independent suspension. I think that it would be easy to shorten it up, drape a stylish Viper coupe-esque body over the frame, and call it Challenger.

I like it.

The SRT-8 Magnum will be a production car according to Chrysler. I am not too excited about it though. It uses the truck version of the Hemi with a s/c. What I long for is the all aluminum Hemi and the reincarnation of a classic. That is what they need to do. They also need to price it against the Mustang and GTO.

Actually, you know what DaimlerChrysler should do? Pull a Fiat and take the SRT-4 running gear and stick it in a tiny two seat mid-engine wedge. Then go Miata hunting. MR2 be damned.

We call it Dodge Demon II

All it would need is aggressive styling and a price point under $25,000.

Yep. Although the GLH namesake must be saved for a rather staid looking hatchback painted black and silver. Retain the FF drivetrain, strip out the interior, and give it the sort of handling that only real drivers can handle. None of this "Idiot Proof" nonsense. Only real, serious, kidney belt comes standard, eye twitch handling.

It wouldn't "go like hell" otherwise.

Nope.

I was never able to get the windows covered to save the interior. I am sure it is trashed by now from the weather.

I am just going to buy the trunk and the rear bumper back for the new one.

Hmm, if those are the screw type hubcaps, would you mind scoring them for me? I'll pay top dollar

Someone stole mine while it was parked in front of my house under a car cover

They're A.R.E. wheels, made by American Racing/American Eagle etc... Just noticed

First off.. i can spell quite well as i was having a keyboard problem

second .. i've driven several Srt-4 and as my Nephew pointed out it depends on your point of reference.. when i pull up in the Ws6 or the Zr1 of course the Srt is gonna feel tinlike and unrefined.. i got a chance t retry one after coming out of a Stock IS300 5 speed.. i test drove with a 300 lbs Black male sales person and a my newpew 140lbs and i weigh 219...
i does feel like it puls i only and i mean only kept my eye on the speedo.. just not impressive i slowly creeps up the speedo while the exhaust snorts and the bov pisses i'ts nimble but unprecise it does not corner flat and i don't think that in 85+ degree temp it live anywhere near 14.2 1/4mile times.

And if yu guys really wanted an awsome Dode i guess everyone ( including Dode) forgot the RAZOR
kick ass 250 hp rwd all business interior Nice clean but no unneccesary power options.. that car was supposed to lst out at 15-17k and it was hat .. could trot and ifit had ben built would have stolen th Mustangs market as the new compact pony car..

I remeber the days of the GLH and probably am one of the few to own a myriad of early dodge( not mitsu ) turbo's.. i know this each Srt 4 did not impress me.. though the last one seemed more "able than the rest" whick tells me that there are some inconsistencies with production and the interiors were actually quite nice.. and the exterior areneons but aren't all that bad they did the best they could considering it was a flwer child smily ccar when it first came out
