Re: What were the 1st mods you ever made on your car?
A half-a-dozen pine trees hangin' from the rear view mirror!
Then I usually go for the homemade plywood wing on the back followed by $9.99 wheel covers. Sometimes if the car is real nice (like a 4 door, '88 Nissan Sentra) I'll spend an extra $12.99 and get the chrome door edging and put it all around the trunk, doors, hood and gas door. Then I'll put on all the neon lights I can find, and put a huge APC sticker in the back window to cover up the bubbles in the tint. OH! Don't forget the T-shirt seat covers! |

My stock corner lens were kind of funked up when I bought my car, so I bought some Euro clears, which have since been taken back off, lol. That was my first "mod," though this is not my recommended first mod by any means.

Re: What were the 1st mods you ever made on your car?
first thing i did was drop the old SHOT block i had, then rebuild and swap in a newer engine from an 85 CRX, then i commenced to customizing the interior with MOMO seats, custom console, and recoloring the interior black.

not sure but i think it went somthing like this....
panosonic headunit, Audiobahn subs, OBX sparkplug wires ( cuz mine were SHOT, and i figured 10.3mm wasn't bad), Projector headlights, clear bumper lights, audiobahn 3-channel competition speakers, audiobahn amps, motegi MRM rims and kumho tires, ACT clutch and flywheel, SRP shortshifter, RS-R streetmag catback exhaust. In the next week I'll be adding a Hifonic Brutus 1500 watt rms amp for the two subs, and I'll be replacing two of the audiobahn comp speakers with MBquart premium components. After that i'm thinkin front lip, springs/struts, and header/intake, possibly all completed by end of summer.

Damn homey. Did you do all of those "first mods" at the same time. Or was it over time?
