Alright! On a roll!
Alright peepz! I'm on a roll now! I just purchased my 17" ICW Racing 618s rims with 205/40/17 shoez on 'em today... And yesterday just sent the money order for my 3G altezzaz. So now I'm at the point... The point of elevation matterz! I'm lookin' into a lowering kit, but I'm skeptical on which to get, which are the best, oh... and on top of all that... I really want a 3" drop. I know, that one haz got to be a tough one b'cuz, me being familiar with the great world of Ebay, and I cant even find one! That low at least. So if ya could help me out, thyz Neon fanatic would love that!

3" drop on 17s?? Do you have a fist gen or 2nd gen Neon? I am not familiar with 2nd gens, but if you have a first gen, you may have to modify your wheels wells to get a 3" drop. My fiance has a 2"drop on his and got bad rubbing on the tire when making sharp turns when he had 17s. Even at almost 1.5" for my Neon I get rubbing if I lock the wheel all the way to one side.

Ugh! Gotta love the USPS but they take too long! Ugh! I'm sittin' 'round waitin' for my rims and altezza's to come in.
So 3" on my 1G is too low? Hmmm... That'd probably be why in mags and online the lowest I've seen is 1.8". Oh well... I suppose that'll have to do. When I get my kit it'll just have to make up for that space between my car and the ground. Matt |
