Airbag, brake lights on !!! Help !!!

This morning I started my 1998 dodge neon. After drived few feet, I notice the Airbag light was on. (I am not sure it was on at very beginning or it was on again.) Then I stopped but I could not get my key out. Sometimes we experience the same problem and we need to push transmission to Park position a little bit harder then we can pull out the key. But this morning I tried several times, it just did not work. Because I could not get the key out, I started again. This time I heard some noise and then the Brake light on. If I put the transmission to all other position, the noise were gone but whenever on the Park position, the noise was heard. (In N position, the noise can be heard too, but I am not sure my memory is good right now) I was able to get the key out after that but the Airbag light was on (normal, in starting), off and then on again and keep in on (not normal after started). The Brake light was also on.

I opened the front cover, it seemed to me the noise was from engine or transmission.

My wind shield glass has few cracks, will it case the Airbag light? But they are here for at least one year now. I am in Boston MA. Maybe the temperature cause it worse?

How about the brake light? I did not see any brake fluid leakage. And the noise seemed from transmission, it will require transmission repair?
