Burnt valve?

I just had the dreaded burnt valve problem. I had a local shop do my head 20,000 miles ago and 1 and 3 where burnt again. Did rings and bearing the first time to. The first time I was charged $225 for the valve job.

This time I orderded one off ebay sent to my door for $177 no core charge. The head looked great when I got it, media blasted looking almost new. This company also does a pressure test something the local shop is not set up to do. I went ahead and did the rings again while the head was off for $33 I figured it was worth it. Rings and gasket set off ebay too. Very happy with both for the price. If anyone is interest I can look up the sellers and post. The gasket set was only $38 with graphite head gasket and the new crank seal seemed to be better quality than the one I put in last time , at least it's not leaking this time.

Here's a link if anybody needs it. I'm very happy so far. I live in MO. and it was shipped from Washington and took about 4 days to recieve after auction closed
