1952 C-Type sells for over $1.6 million
Christies successful Retromobile sale on February 11th had a 1952 Jaguar C-Type that sold for $1,651,300 (or €1,386,250). It was raced by the Ecurie Ecosse team from Scotland and it has the famous Flag Blue metallic paint.
 A 1953 Jaguar C-Type from Ecurie Ecosse at the 2005 Goodwood Revival.  Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar C-Type drivers, Jimmy Stewart and Ninian Sanderson, took 1st and 2nd place at Goodwood’s Johnson Trophy Race in 1954.  |
