fast Mileage counter
Hello
I had a Passat (1.9TDI 98MY) for a bit more then a month and I already had airbag, problem, service light (Fixed now), but I see something strange, the mileage get slow and then get faster, I went the weekend to try it and surprise, I have done about 39 or 40 miles, but the clock went nearly 90 miles, has someone had that problem?, how can I fix it, if a carry on like that I will be doing more then double mile., wheel size is standard, I don’t know what is that? |

It counting miles of course, and for no reason it went mad, so now I don’t know what to do, if I touch it I can make it worse, I don’t know it there is a way to recover the real mileage, does someone know how to do that?
Thanks in advance. |

Re: fast Mileage counter
I wasn't being a smartass, I asked because the TDI engine wasn't offered for the Passat except in Europe until 2004.5MY so it stood to reason that the computer was set for km not mile. Sorry I couldn't help more.
