Airbag on

Hi there, sorry to ask a stupid question, but i had my car serviced last month and last week the Airbag light come on, in comes and flashes and stays permanently on, is there any way to reset that light without visiting the main dealer?

You would have to find a shop that uses a VAG scanner simulator like the VAG-COM. Most independent shops that specialize in VW use something of tis sort. I don't know af ony generic OBD-II scanner that can access the system.

i will try to find a OMISCAN, that could read the fault but not clear it.
