'96 cirrus stereo problem...

Hello all,

The factory stereo in my '96 chrysler cirrus is starting to act up. Both right speakers in my car pop or cut out completely for very short periods of time (but very often). My deck gives me the message "Err R-SP" sometimes when this happens. Has anyone experienced this or may know how to repair it?

********
Edit: Forgot to mention that I've gotten into the stereo a few times since this started and at most re-soldered some speaker leads on the circuit board. The leads I did solder were for the right speakers and did need a little touching up, but this still did not solve the problem.
********

Thanks in advance

Timmy

Maybe check your speaker wires ,they could be old or damaged .
