wheel/tire size when lowering 95 civic
hey yall, i've been wantin to lower my 95 civ H/B for quite some time but right now I have some 15" 2003 si rims on it, which came with 185/65/R15 tires...so the question is, can i use H&R Race Lowering Springs to lower this b*tch 2.5"F 2.25"R without having the tires rub too much? (cuz i cant afford low pro's right now) thx

Re: wheel/tire size when lowering 95 civic
185/65x15" is the wrong size for a Civic in 15s. Are you sure it's not 14s?
You should get 195/55x15" so it doesn't throw off your speedo and doesn't make your car so sluggish.

yea im positive about the size - these tires came stock with 2003 civic si's... i bought them from some dude for cheap and i know they have a larger diameter than the original steelies that were on the car originally...however, it doesn't throw the speedo off much, i am planning to get some low pros for these wheels in the future anyways so thats why i havent adjusted the speedo for the larger wheels/tires.. just need to know if the tires are gonna rub when i slam this bitch. thx |
