911 engine in a 914

I'm looking at a porsche 914, and i had been told that the 911 flat 6 will fit inside, but I was curious as to how much work mounting the engine there is. Is getting it in difficult? Just looking at the 914, there seems to be very little space, will the newer 911 engines (like the 3.2) Fit? thanks.

Are you interested in doing this? If so, consider seeing a conversion specialist. BRI

Yeah, thank you for the information, I'll e-mail them, but do you know if they'll charge me anything for them to just answer a few questions? Or how much they charge to do a conversion? Thanks.

They won't charge you if you ask some questions, they are really helpful with those things. If you want to get it done, then i guess it really depends on how difficult the swap is..
