COMPLETE: 2002 Miller Lite Top Fuel Champ car
Well,
My first rail car is done. This was quite a fun project for me. The amount of research one needs to do a project like this I found to be the most fun and challenging. I will do another one down the road. I see a Tony Schumacher Army rail in my future!! IT was a blast posting it, seeing all you guys get a kick out of it. Here are the many photos I have taken of it. Thank for looking guys!!!! By the way, I would like to thank Clay for the so real tires he picked up at the Swap meet in the NNL's last year. These are real hard top come by. Al, for the killer miller blue paint, and extra decals!!! ANd John Schaefer forhaving his artists and cartograph make these decals... I took the car to its first contest this weekend, the 18th annual Street Rod nationals which have a contest in the vendor building put on by MAGS (Modelers association of the Gulf State). I believe there wer atleast 200-250 cars entered in all classes with atleast 5 top fuelers plus mine. I met up there also with two of the nicest guys around Terry Marcum and Doug Montgomery, guys it was a pleasure to kick back and have fun with you guys!!!! They both also did well at the show. HOw did the Top Fuel do??? 1st place open wheel competition BEST ENGINE BEST DETAIL BEST IN SHOW I was truely blown away, the best in show trophy is pictured with the final pics of the car.... An amazing piece made out of solid crystal.... I was totally blown away... on with the pics!!!!                       |

Just as Eric said, I hope to see this at our show as well. Unfortunately it pretty much eliminates all competition, but it is a great masterpiece to view. I hope you bring a big enough suitcase to bring home your award(s).

I knew it was a show stopper from the time I got the sneak preview. stunning work. and this is just a first in a long line of awards for this thing.....I've got a superman rail that I'd like to detail to this caliber one day....
