Italeri Abrams tank

This was made by a friend of mine and it looks awesome. So I wanted to share this with you here (and Jay allowed me to ) A lot of scratch-built details there.

Here are some pics. Enjoy

Superb job.
I also have build many tanks (mostly 2WW) but this is far beyond anything I've done. Top work.
Give my congratulations to your friend.

Hi Ales,

Looks very good. I especially like the eye-level shots. Looks like a real machine that way. Think about having them posted in the Gallery of Hyperscale at www.hyperscale.com . I know that Brett Green, the editor, would welcome this submission very much.

Cheers,
Erik.

Wants lowering, euro tail lights, a couple of Type R stickers and mabe a 4" tip on the exhaust and it would be great.....no wait.....that would be how to ruin a model....

Looks great Alex, what scale is it?

It's 1/35

And at the moment that monkey is trying to do something to the model, not sure what ... (note that the thread is almost a year old)

Thumbs up

All of us car modelers should learn what this guy knows, imagine this type of realism in your cars! We could learn so much from these guys that would cross over to the car modeling side.

Looks awsome, almost makes me want to dig out my armor kits again. One small problem with the tanks though...the square "pads" on the tracks should be flat black. Other than that, looks great.

P.S. Got the stuff from HLJ that my wife got me, working on them now, but because of work, they are going to take longer than usual to finish. Pic will be posted ASAP.

Trust me, if he didn't make them black, they shouldn't be. they are not green, they are greyish dirtyish colour, they just look greenish in the pictures
