No, the bumper was required to help with the graphics.

Not sure when we will see 19R, but when we do, I guess it will look fantastic :smokin:

Does anyone have any letters / literature direct from Mclaren? I have a letter to a prospective customer from Mansour Ojjeh, a letter from David Clark, Press packs as well as part of the invite to the Monaco Launch etc but would love more.

I had a go at getting the manuals, but my 'crazy' bid was beaten by an even crazier bid; not too disheartened though - if the buyer wanted it more than me he deserved it :)

The race car parts went for fair £'age too!

Manuals were a fair price, have mine allready bare the parts list :)

And we all know one that recently may or may not have sold without spare parts.

Always interested in press kits if they are in good condition. LM would be great if anyone is seriously thinking of selling?

The first item is a very rare Marlboro McLaren Team jacket from the 1996 Zhuhai International race.

The second is a very rare GTC Motorsport McLaren Team jacket from 1996 season.

Yes - I think quite a few of us own a copy - I believe I've ended up with two. It's smaller than the standard F1 brochure - around 9" square, but a quality piece if you are a huge F1 GT fan. That's a very tempting price its sitting on as well. I paid about 4 times that for my first copy. The person I got it from had paid 3 times my price for the privilege. :yikes:

I paid about that for mine but as always would like another, especially at the current price....

I actually have a copy and managed to practically steal it at about £25, however its not great condition...

20 minutes to go and it is now far less of a bargain, but still a great price @ £136.

We'll see where it ends - I might consider parting with one of my copies for the right price.

The card folders had grey, green, red and black variants, some with added gloss lettering, for the differing year models of F1 and GTR presskits.

McLaren also did a reprint of the Autocar road test issue in a white folder with pin badge. I gave both copies away as a little present to a very good friend :thumbsup:
