A standard Driving Ambition the same story, prices are exploding for no reason, a special edition is worth more, but fortunes are been asked for some little papers than a standard.

Which photographers are responsible for the photography for the tour?

I think Martin Vincent was one, but I would like to know the other photographers responsible for some the the amazing pictures of the tour. I would like to see some of their portfolios.

If you compare the Tuscany book with the F1 20 Anniversary book which one do you like more. Which book has the nicer content and better pictures?

I bought both the F1 20 and Tuscany Tour books direct from the organiser of the Tour, and paid list for both .There are / were a few copies for sale through Morry at Collectorstudio.com but I'm unsure if he has any left.

I prefer the Tuscany Tour book as the photos are better and the book itself is laid out very well, much better than the first.

Seeing as there may be none left, I may be willing to sell mine at a Premium, however I have had interest from people in the past and have spent time taking photos of books only to hear nothing after them receiving the pictures, so if you want it and are a serious buyer not just a photo collector let me know

When I was at Silverstone classic a couple
of weeks ago, I saw the Gulf covered GTR book on Chaters stand. I asked how much & chap said £400!
Out of interest I looked on their website. Raven59,which I got for £190, a few weeks back on e-bay,was for sale at £550!!!!!
They had some of the summer tour books also. Prices are out of my reach,even though I am a massive fan of McLaren
Prices are going crazy!
Just been sorting through all my GTR & McLaren magazines,foreign& English,& think a lot off these articles featured are just as collectable & interesting

Autocar has a deal on the digital copy of McLaren's Road Car with a subscription. I always wanted the physical copy of the book and I am thinking of buying the digital copy.

Are there any scans of this book available or PDF documents already?:)

The book itself is relatively cheap and quite often on eBay. I haven't heard of a pdf version though

I have a set of scans but they are low resolution and don't include every single page. I forget where they came from but at one point they would have been most certainly shared on this forum or at least linked from here.

This offer from AutoCar is probably second only to having the actual book, which copies of appear often and reasonably priced on Ebay.

Hi, is there someone here who knows the last Official Sales Prices when the Limited Driving Ambition Book with leather cover was for sale on the McLaren webpage. I have in mind the le Mans Edition was 825£ but i am not sure with the 1000 pieces edition.

Around £400 new but Le Man has the proof IIRC. Current prices are around £600-£700

What he's asking is for the original purchase price which was 825GBP for leMans Ed and 575 GBP for Regular limited ed. I bought mine from McLaren and still have the receipt.

I,m sure the £575 that LM Mike paid for his, was the highest price McLaren had on their website.

Just a note - you posted your question at 11:30pm in the UK where most of our members who could offer an answer are based. I have had 5 of these big books - 2 Le Mans Editions and 3 Ltd Editions pass through my hands, either to fellow collectors or F1 owners. They are a great book, if a bit weighty and hard to store due to their size.

If I ever find another I'll pop it up here for offers :)

Honoustly, I was lucky to get my hands on 059. Thanks to our Japanese sales man who made the money transfer and shipping for me after I found it.
A little advice if you're after rare items, use Google translate and search on the website in the respective country. That's how I found 059 on Ebay.co.jp ;)

The only information i have found on Frank Biella driving 22R was in Prequalifying Le Mans 3/5/98 race number 41 with Thomas Bscher / Rinaldo Capello. In the race it was driven by Thomas Bscher / Rinaldo Capello / Emanuele Pirro. I hope this help
