I've read elsewhere that you got Best in Show at the Queensland Hobby Expo for the 'T' - well deserved in my opinion against some stiff oppostion. Congratulations!:worshippy

I've been following this build up from the begginning and it's true a piece of art. I have a question, what DVD it's the one you mentioned and where it can be obtained?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The DVD is from Duke and is part of a series "The Grand Prix Collection". This series has a review of the year from 1970 through to 1979. 1980 is available as well. Most auto book shops have them?

This is absolutely staggering...fuses...the rusty disc brake venting...the working wheel nuts...the shoelace hoses...utterly, completely unbelievable. You are an absolute master, hands down. This is 100% the best model I have ever seen. It looks better than some real cars, in fact.
Note to self: Never buy this kit.
I now hate 1/24 scale, because there's no chance of doing anything even remotely close to this. This build will either immensely motivate me, or end the hobby for me forever...let's hope the former.
You should be VERY proud and if you don't win that competition I'd like to have a word with the judges.

Small update
I started work on the chassis. Painted with Alclad polished aluminium and the polished out with Kosutte-ginsan to add the metal sheene.
I also removed all the molded rivets and replaced them with my own.
Here's a picture of some fuses which I made.

Hi Rob, may I ask, did you make your own punch for the rivets and what did you punch them out of?
Also there's no mention of the wings anywhere - did you Alclad them too?
Beautiful build BTW - can we see some large pics in the finished project gallery please!

Paint is ZERO Nissan Red 526 which is supposed to be almost an exact match for the Ferrari of that era. I cleared with auto lacquer.
The dispute about whether or not to clear decals is answered by clearing the whole car, then I will mask the decals which were stickers, and spray them with a semi-gloss clear so they appear correct.

Hi !
Why the ZERO Nissan Red 526 did you use it ?
I saw so it , their colours are also Ferrari .
Wherefore I interest, because I make an also so car .

I'm building the same kit, strictly from the box. It's my third F1 build ever, so it's quite difficult for me. The work you are doing it's just absolutely brilliant. Bravo!

Robex leave a question I have tried but not as I do not understand English very well how the page.
It refers to the use of Microballoons in the engine block.
Will mix with the paint and used the airbrush very open?
Where to get this product?
I'm making an Alfa Romeo T33 / 3 to 1 / 12 all by hand, and this technique would be very good for the engine.
Sorry if you reach the question twice but did not do very well as
If I can do to answer my mail
I find it more easy [email protected]
to find the answers on the page
Sincerely
Pablo Prieto
