Oops! Never Mind: I just realized that the entry date deadline was last July, so yeah, very late ndeed to the party. Oh well, my build goes on, and I look forward to seeing all your projects.
Thanks, Jamme, for the inspiration for my 512BB (your 512S is spectacular!)
Hello all,
Late to the party, I know.
I would like to add my name to this great list.
My project: 1/24 MFH-512BB LM. #63 '3M' cloud car from Le Mans 1979. All is painted, engine and rear area about 80% finished. making pretty good progress, actually. Initial build pics coming soon.
If there's time: 1/20 Ferrari F186 (S. Johanssen) or F193A (J. Alesi). Of these two less than stellar F1 variants, which should I build: opinions?
Ciao,
Michael

I'd to chat with Tang before the year's end: he's still alive (LOL) but very busy with the new job: hopefully he'll follow the forum now and finish the thread's job ;)

I'll ping him and see what his thoughts are about bringing it to a close- it's about time to wrap it up so we can see everyone's work!

Will I have time to finish my 348 if I hurry a bit?

I know Tang pretty good and you know what, I haven't finished my models, i must admit I 'm guilty.
But then many people of us haven't... For those who have, kudos to you, you probably have an awesome model sitting in your shelve.
I 'd say, let's take a deep breath, rethink the 'deadline' idea for this group build and let's put them all together in a thread.
Even if Tang is very busy at his new job and his new situation... He's a frigging work-monkey and is doing pretty well. Tang, if you have one minute off at work, check this and be happy dude, relax, take a deep breath, clap your hands and say yeah!
and 61 sounds as good as 60 does, doesn't it? Well, maybe if you're an old 60 year old woman with saggy boobs, falling down every year, but we're modelers, time is futile and resistance is useless.
Peace out!

Tonio, get to work on the 348! :grinyes:
I've had word with Tang. He's not been able to get on much lately (work-monkey, as mentioned above). But he's planning to bring it to a close for Chinese Gnu Year, which will be on or about the first week of Feb. So get on with it, the end is near!

Isn't the mouse year now just started? BTW: I dunno know how kind of news you guys are waiting: I guess the celebration was done, all we need is to close the event with a shared gallery. I know you Tiger ever called it "contest" but it simply isn't :D
isn't it?
ciao
gio
PS...
I finished nothing....
but my personal celebration is still alive, at last I breath Maranello's air (smokes :D LOL)

Hi guys, the guilty mouse is here... I just came back from my grandparents' place. The new year really messed up like the new job. Something else should be handled in the last two days before I get back to my office. The gallery stuff was almost done. I'll launch it tomorrow or the day after. I'm sorry my friends for my loooooooooooooooooooooooong time absent, I owe you the explanation. And thanks A LOT to Andy, Gio, Oli, Ramon and other dudes! I'll see you very soon!
