I have an 360 GT Risi (Leman) to do
I will buy the F430 Challenge for sure and I have a stupid idea involving a F430 and a lot of styrene and putty... :screwy:
Said from you don't sound so stupid LOL, can't wait to see how you have in mind.

Well it will be a "secret projet".. That mean I'm not sure at all it will turn out right so I don't want to embarrass me with an horrible WIP.
I did the drawing yesterday, it should look really nice, but I will have to see if my scratchbuilt skill are on par with this insane idea.
Worst case, I will loose a kit and time :p I will order some kits today. (first order in about 18 months !!)

Funny how most of us have like 5 Ferraris on our benches and none of them are finished.
Doesn't seem to be the same for Porsches, Lambos, Astons, etc...... LOL

You did a great job on the 959, so why not display it with its archrival? I'll look forward to your build. I've got the kit in my stash, unstarted of course. My only gripes with it are the exhaust manifolds and the turbos- the turbos especially need some correction.

This will be one interesting group project. Question though: Will we have some sort of introduction line to show that the build and WIP-Thread belongs to the "60 years of Ferrari"-project?

Just an idea. What if we made one of each Ferrari model from the past 60 years? Make a list of all the models, and as different modellers "sign up" then the other modellers must choose another model. Would result in an impressive lineup, even if everone cant build their favorite model.

That's what i was thinking about. As you can see we already have a poster. And the avatar is just like our business card, differentiating us from each other IMO. So I think that part could be better not the same. How do you think guys?
And I'm sure I'd love to make some kit that you can take as your banner or put them on your signatures. Will do it asap.

I don't think it's a good idea to leave members with fewer options for what to build, but instead, I think duplicate should be allowed. But it's a good idea to have a directory in chronological order.
How about updating the first post of this thread? Like year, designation and AF user name, separated by commas, and if there's a progress thread, make it a link. Even if one's progress thread isn't ready, we'll still see who's making what. I'm especially interested in seeing a list for the FXX.
>> auw12
Would you like to manage such a list, instead of asking a mod to start a new thread?

This would be a fantastic idea to see at the end, but hard to do I guess, the whole idea is against the spirit of "Rules is no rules, 100% Freedom" that I like so much, that allow OOB, 100% scratchbuilt, fantasy and concept cars, phantom racers... seem this thread is following the former group build discusion.... and is ok not start from zero with concept every one. I discovered COLORS lol

The great thing about the ammout of interest already is that we should see alot of differnt builds and I would bet they will touch on just about every gerneration of Ferrari. So no rules is better, this is supposed to be fun right?
