Im jealous. ive only managed to get 15 or so. What download client do you use (if you dont mind me asking)? I have limewire, and can only seem to find a few.

ok so...ive never used a bittorrent prog before, so i know absolutely zero about it. I downloaded that Azureus client you mentioned in the hopes that it wouldnt be too difficult to figure out, but couldnt even get through the setup lol. Ive never felt so noobish in my life. It says theres a problem with my port of something like that
anyways, do one of you guys know of a good place to lean about this stuff? or a forum where i can ask really nooby questions without getting :nutkick:?

Ha i kept up with a evo. My friends intercooler pipes keep on poping off his vr4 every time when he raises his boost. could it be its not tight enough?

How high is he raising the boost? But yes, usually the stock y-pipe is the first to blow off...generally around 15psi. Get some t-bolts if hte stock clamps wont stay tight enough.

He has no y-pipe but the part that came out was on the other side of his front mount and its behind that blue part you see.

I just had 3 heart attacks in under 45 seconds. I kid you not.
So I'm cruising on the highway in my car. No real traffic to speak of, so I've been playing around with a Maxima doing some 5th gear pulls and watching him fall behind. I slow it down and he decides he wants to lead for a bit, so I let him. We are cruising a bit over 90 when I look to side of the road and to my horror there is a cop pulling off a backroad and into the speed trap up above. (first heart attack) I slow to 80, the Max keeps going. Cop doesn't pull out...safe...
...until I try to warn oncoming traffic with my highbeams. I flash my highbeams and the car loses all power and stalls at 80mph. Naturally, I wasn't expecting this, so heart attack #2. Well it catches and comes on again, bewildered, I look down at my stereo, and then up into teh mirrors. Milliseconds later I look forward to what I swear was either the dumbest tractor trailer driver ever...or the 2nd to intentionally try and run me off the road.
This idiot, instead of slowing for a dumptruck infront of him, swerves into my lane, about 4ft in front of me, doing about 20mph slower than me. I locked up the brakes and had all 4 wheels sliding, at 80mph, and came about 4 inches from losing my front bumper. Heart attack #3. At this point, I'm not sure I had a heartbeat, and either wasn't breathing at all, or hyperventilating. I pulled into the right lane, popped on my blinkers, and took it down to about 5mph under the speed limit for the next 10 miles, until I had gotten all internal organs back to normality. Swear though, i think that 1/2 mile or so took a few years off the end of my life.

^^^Wow, some people eh, um well I had an argument with a guy last night regarding the 3kgt, or any car for that fact, and we just kept disagreeing, FYI we are not talking race cars here.........
1. Generally all moded Japanese cars making over 400ATW only last 10,000 k's before needing a totall rebuild or replacement of the engine.
Ummm WTF I know more than a few cars making over 400ATW moded from new which have around 50,000 k's on em......
2. His car which has a stock engine, Engine management system, actually the only mods which he has on his car is front mount, turbo and exhaust, everything else is stock. How the hell can his stock computer/Injectors control these mods without nock, etc. FYI this car is a chaser running a first gen supra engine and gearbox with a huge turbonetics Garrett turbo and Huge front mount @ 12psi...................
3. Most Ferrari's need an engine rebuild or replacement after 10,000k's.......
4. Daily driver Toyota supra making 1500hp ATW, WTF............... Toyota supra making over 1700hp ATW.
5. Mitsubishi Evo making over 1100hp ATW....................

Torrent wise i use uTorrent you should check it out really easy no problem with my router at all. I did see borat it was a good movie but the naked wrestling scene eeeeh i'm still scared. But all in all i have been good looking to sell my System if anybody wants one.

1. BS I can name plenty. rx7s maybe...lol, but in general, no, few and far between, unless tuned by an idiot.
2. Depends what his stock fuel system and stock fuel maps can deal with. Our cars weren't given much more leeway over what the stock demands were. There are some cars that come with fuel pumps, injectors, and ecu adjustibility that far exceed stock demands...and they can get away with stuff like that.
3. Nope, just nope.
4. It's possible, there are some Supra dyno queens out there...you can always call your car a daily driver, doesn't mean it runs on a daily basis. I call my vr4 a daily driver...
5. Maybe, honestly I forget what that one crazy Evo (with all the vids) is making power-wise. 1100AWT seems a bit high, but I wouldn't say impossible

It is fixed. The original problem was (and this makes no sense to me), that the #4 injector power wire, was shorting to ground between the resistor pack harness and the rear injector harness on the side of the plenum. I have no idea how a power wire shorting to ground, before the injector, could possible cause it to stay open..but it did :dunno: That is fixed.
I have another short somewhere else which causes some battery drainage, but no driveability problems...so I'm gonna track that one down when I have time.
As far as the flashing highbeams causing the car to stall...that one kinda is up in the air. I know my positive battery cable was loose, and I know that in the past, when it has popped off the terminal, my car has stalled. :dunno: I think I may have a dying alternator. Plenty of things to still work on, but it runs and runs well :grinyes:

Definitely some crazy stuff man.... My gf's sister just had an accident last night and the car's totalled. From the gist of what I got, she looked down for a second at her cell phone because she saw two missed calls and BAAM--ran the Miata into some truck or something and then ended up rolling over a couple times. Crazy stuff...besides some scratches, she's okay I think. The car's absolutely gone though....glad you and the babe's okay!!!

lol, i want to go with somthing that will keep my kick bass for my freq. death/black/goth/heavy metal listenting but stil the ability to get low. 2 12in old school Brahmas. That way i can get low,loud and still have the kick bass. Also looking into alphasonik' saw a review of one of there subs 150 somthing db on a termlab in a 1.5 cubic foot box. Thats insane but any way i am going to find somthing to amuse myself till my baby gets home from school.

It would be a 91 Stealth RT/TT. :D Have to make some calls and do some figuring but I may have it in my possession by the end of the week. All this means now is that I need to get rid of something so I am gonna part my white 94 3000gt. Unless someone offers me the right amount of money that is. :suspect:

Theres a few issues that will probably make you turn away. 1 is getting a title is gonna be an issue. I have a lead on a lead to get it though. 2 is the car is kinda beat up. Long story short previous owner (never registered to though) beat the crap out of it with a pick axe. 3 Interior pieces are missing such as the entire passenger seat.
I had planned on just fixing it little by little over the winter and sellin it for a nice profit but I can probably part it and make good money too. I dunno anymore though. :lol:

As of Saturday the motor has been put back into the 3000gt. Next Friday I am going back to do connect everything. Can't wait for it to be running agian.

They aren't your cpu cookies you mean you interent browser cookies. Assuming you are using IE then most likely you reached your size limit and it started to clear some out itself. If it was a trojan you'de have alot more problems then missing cookies

just went out and got a killer estimate on my collision damage: $1500. next lowest was almost $1900 and didn't sound like they planned on doing much. One of the guys there claims that he used to do body work on alot of 3000gts / stealths as part of dealership deal with his old bodyshop. I also like him because when I mentioned the rock chips on my hood he said he'd take care of em so long as he was paint matching the hood, free of charge.
On a worse note, my front right tire is now nearing drag-slick levels of tread due to an alignment thing so i have an appointment with leschwab to get an alignment and im gonna see if they carry the same tire. the others are fine, less than a year old. also, if anyone asks, it was the tire, not the driver, that caused the crash :icon16:

Got another ticket... :biggrin: which I think brings the total up to somewhere around 20 times being pulled over. Was doing 90+ in a 65, radar detector gave me enough heads up to get down to 83. Cop was cool and dropped it down to 71 in a 65. I'll still probably fight it, just to keep that 1 point off the record...plus it's right near a friend's college, so I can always celebrate with him after court.
It is really sad that this is becoming pretty routine. I was surprised though, that it took 2 weeks to get pulled over. Once I got the vr4 running again, I figured it would only take a few hours to get a blue and red light show.
The officer suggested that I slow it down and drive safely. I therefore neglected to inform him that if he had been parked 2 miles up, he would have seen me going 40mph faster :grinyes: I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

LOL I have been lucky. last time I got nailed was July 03 Until I got nailed a few weeks ago for dead registration and dead inspection. WOOPS. If the cop would have been a little further back he would have nailed me for 90 in a 55. Then he probably would have had something to say about my exhaust, taillights, tint, and who knows what else he would have found. :lol: Only ended up costin me $158.50

Haha you must have nicer cops than we do. I have never heard of anything like that around here. I was pulled over for going 26 over....ticket. Pulled over when I raced an Explorer in my Dodge Ram (yeah I know, the things we do when were young and dumb) and get an excessive tq ticket....no warning. 2 wheel barrels fall off at work on the back of our trailer causing a 3 car pile up and a law suit with our company.....two tickets. My luck sucks lol.
