if you mean electro magnetic pulse bomb then I can't imagine them not being sheilded from that too. Cause if they weren't you could just set one off nearby, and the whole motorcade comes to a hault, and you're set to go. One way to overcome that without sheilding would be to use diesel engines with no drive-by-wire systems, but I can't imagine they did that.
