It looks very awsome perfect job. Ive yet too try it from the looks of it, it looks like it works very well.

Yea, from the looks of peoples cars it looks like it works magnificently! I hope my Ferio gets the shine it deserves with it:) Right now i haven't wetsanded it or even started polishing it. Those pictures are just of the clear coat sprayed on it. From the looks of it, it seems like its going to be easy to polish:) Hopefully:)

Haven't touched this car for a while. Still needs to be polished.

Hows this for ride height:) Im back with the MR5's on this one:lol: For the simple fact that i dont want to do a female conversion to fit the RPF1's. lazy:) I also replaced the Aoshima Tires with the Hasegawa Tires (A bit smaller, tighter fit)

Wow your car is looow! Nice revive, how long has this taken you from the very beginning? I have never had experience on airbrushing plastic bodies with OEM lacquer paints. One day when I start building again I'm going to try factory paints as well.

 Its been a while since i started this. Lucky me, that this paint was done by Dupli Color and very cheap. I've wasted soo much of it already.

Well, this car keeps bring bad stuff along with it. While i was wetsanding the fenders to polish, i sanded a little too much and where the little cut is on the fenders i ran through a little, so im going to have to mask and repaint that fender over some of the clear coat, then clear coat that fender again:( What a way to end a terrible day for me:(

Cool Civic. Too bad I ruined my Ferio.

.speaking of ruined Ferio's. I sort of ruined the paint on this one again:lol: Its in DOT3 once again. I'll pass by Auto Zone to check out the other colors they have. I might do the red again, idk. Gold? Champagne? Im tired of black so thats a no:lol: Silver doesn't look too hot on these 92-95 Sedans, i have too many green models so thats a no to green, Blue is just a little meh..I have no clue wats to come:lol: Tell you guys the truth, i feel like i am losing interest in this frikkin car! I wished it would've been done already ! This is like a drawing which at first your really into, but once things start to fall apart and you begin to see your mistakes you feel like you lost time in this stupid shizzne. I went to put the car together for a quick picture and all the wheels fell off, so now i have to redo the frikkin suspension, I feel like frikkin gluing these stupid little wheels to the fenders or something! Argh!

 Well i ran through the paint while wetsanding. I thought since all the paints i was using were dupli color that i could just shoot the color over the clear on that section with nothing happening...WRONG! Frikkin paint got super wrinkly. I tried wetsanding it down again and told myself, freak this...im not goint to so all this sanding just to hide the frikkin panel lines which already were catching up plenty of paint. So once i strip this b*@#$ again, i'll have to scribe the panel lines again. Hopefully i don't scribe them too much where the pieces start to fall out:lol:

If you're so frustrated with it, send it to me!

Nah, you'll get it done, man. Why not stick with the red? I thought the red was mad hot, and I think red is the perfect color for this generation of Civics. They have the cleanest lines and smoothest curves and red calls that out better than any other color, if you ask me. Sorta like why Kunta paints so many cars red.

Good luck, and don't give up! I dig your style and this is one of your best. Well, what's complete is, anyway.

I usually pull out another new model to work on once I get tired of the old one, but I have never lasted as long as you to redo the paint a 3rd time on a same model!! You just won't give up so easily!
Honestly I suggest you start on something different (like a mitsubishi or BMW or something completely different than what you have been through) maybe build them in a simple way so you will get a couple done in a short time. Maybe soon enough you will pick up your interest on the civic again to finish it, but its just my opinion. Afterall I think there are many people looking forward to your ferio in completed form.

By the way if you do end up scribing body panels off the body, more power to you! Because then you can modify your ferio to have open doors! (me looking forward:naughty::naughty::naughty:)

I am currently trying to build a spray paint booth made out of cardboard and ventilation out of a computer power supply powering a couple case fans. I got the fans to work today and I will build the booth itself in a few days, afterwards I will be able to start building models again!!

Yea man, i'm trying my best not to give up on this because i hate leaving stuff unfinished. Yea, ima just keep on another project which i am farther on. My Civic SiR-II. Right now im polishing it soo, it is pretty far. Hopefully this one will come out good and inspire me to do the ferio.

:lol:Wow, opening doors. That would be awesome, yet such a pain! I have already glued the dashboard to the interior tub so if that happens then i will have to try to debond the glue or something. That would require much skill, which i am afraid i don't have yet:lol:

Sweet! I needed a spray booth soo badly, but i just realized a little trick for myself. I spray under the sink and close the doors once im done spray so no dust goes in there. It's soo dust free;) I used to leave the doors open and all the dust would go in. I actually found this out accidentally, because when i sprayed the odor used to bother my parents. So one day i was like, "hmm, what if i close the doors so i could trap the spray in there." And so i did. Once i opened the doors i saw that the paint was without a single particle of dust on the surface!

The Ferio takes on another color!

This time its Dark Cherry Metallic by Dupli Color. When i started painting this car i thought to myself, "dag, this paint is going to come out thick", i don't know why i said that but it came out just as i thought...flippin thick ! Lets just hope i layed enough paint so i won't run through the paint again while polishing  Wheels are just sitting under the car so don't get scared, the car will not be this low:lol:

Check out the Orange peel!

I even picked up the PIAA Civic model too but I'm not touching that car until I am completely ready to just build it start to finish. The RNRs are a pain in the butt, but I realize what I was doing wrong when making the molds-I'm going too fast!!! I have a set for you, but they still need a little bit of work. I wanna be able to make a clean perfect set for you though.
