Here is the start to a slow build since im doing too much stuff at once but wanted to share with you guys my next project. Its a Hasegawa Civic Ferio 4 door which is pretty hard to find and my very good friend phatmitsu was kind of enough to find me one...a really big thanks goest towards phatmitsu (Thanks Rick!) Ok so the color is still undecided. The wheels of choice will be Mugen RNR wheels which im still trying to find! Interior will be stripped. Thats all for now. I made the front grill a bit skinnier so the Intercool would be slightly visible (sleeper :lol) Its been already wetsanded and tomorrow primer will be shot and color might be selected at Auto Zone

This was an early idea which i canceled, I was going to put a 2 door front bumper on it.

Nice work so far. Try hitting up Sean at www.mechahawaii.com for the Orthia kit or contact Rainbow Ten for it. I don't think it has been discontinued yet, and I have bought several just for my own upcoming projects. Good luck with your hunt, and this model. How is the plastic on this one, thin as in the case of the Hatchback, or thicker?

Thanks Tri, Yea the Orthia isn't discontinued yet. They have it at HLJ, i wanted to buy the RNR's seperate but i still haven't found someone willing to sell or trade Mugen' wheels with me. So i guess i'll have to buy the Orthia kit :disappoin

The plastic on this car is way stronger than the one on the Hatchback. Its a bit transparent also. Very strong indeed.

mrceej: You should defenitely build those and share with us. :)

As I promissed, the pics of my Ferio. Hope you can do something with it.
I build it 7 years ago, in the early days of tuning.......so not hat much modifying. A checkerd flag and clear taillights were hot those days.... :icon16:

I couldn't agree more with you! Thanks soo much for sharing man! You should put that on the Civic meet so everyone else who doesn't get to view this thread gets to enjoy those pictures of that awesome Civic!

As for my Civic, i primered it and am currently going over the panel lines with my Xacto black to get them nice and solid like on my Hatchback. I'll post pictures this weekend when it will be ready for the first coat of paint; which i still haven't decided what colour it will be.

Cant wait to see what you have in store for this Joehammy. I know youll do this car justice.

I had this kit waaay back in the day, I still have the box actually, but the kit is long gone.

Wheelin75r: ahh memories. I too remember the days when the checkered flag was cool on opposite ends of each other. like front right = rear left. And the clear taillights...I had them on my 1:1. The touring wing and windshield wiper halfway up are also reminisent of the old days of tuning. Awesome job!

Not much has been done to this car. I already have all the pieces put together and the color has been chosen. The color will be Alpine Green Pearl by Dupli Color. Wheels are Mugen MR5's and seats are Recaro's Jet Setter SR-II. I am currently waiting to get some Gunze Sangyo Retarder to drain the paint form the can and mix them and then airbrush it. Hopefully this makes polishing easier for me.

make sure this one turns out well Joeham. you asked me for those rims at the right time. now, i feel like i can't do the same to my ferio!

willimo: if you like, i can print out the decals from those seats. if you get the Integra Type R seats or seats from the spocom package and use the decals, they would be the same (PM me if you are interested). i feel you on the seats being from the right time era. that's why i gave them to Joeham for free. i felt he would put them to use on a good project.

ha ha! no, i'm not. i just happen to have a whole bunch of models that i never got around to building. the short story is i was cleaning my room when i started to get back into modeling and such, about the same time i registered here as well. so my plan was just to throw everything away but i started to look at all the goods so i kept what i wanted. so i have a few extra things here or there. not much, but some. and since i'm a honda guy at heart, you know i got some mugen goodies! ImolaEK just happen to ask me at the right time for those rims. i have like 3 sets so i decided i could give up one set to a good guy. i couldn't find the set i thought i had, so pulled those wheels off of a built model and sent them to Joeham to keep my word. sad thing is, i can't find the other two sets!!

Joeham, those wheels match the car perfectly. And willimo, your crx will look killer with those too. I noticed it in the background of your fit WIP. I also have a set of those. I am keeping them on the prelude though. As soon as I repaint the body, I'll post some pics. Since you people are showing some old wheels, how many of you out there have some 94-95 gs-r wheels? Since this thread has become a big Honda part swap meet, do either of you (ex-r or mrceej) have a spare big CRX decal from the Fujumi Cyber Sports model? I need one for each door for true '89 sport style.

Thanks for the tip on those wheels, but they are too smooth (I think) for the chunky 89-92 CRX.

And, for one last tidbit, www.iloveracing.com has some Mugen M-12s for sale, and I don't think those are still around anywhere else. Linky (http://www.iloveracing.com/index.php?cPath=47_39&osCsid=e4179177798589b818d5903d8f7d7355) Those look mad hot on Accords, I might should get a set for my Fujimi wagon + JACCS Accord = street sedan.
