Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II Progress Thread

Now it's all finished!

Whew, that's a mouthful! Anyway, got the chassis done today, except for skid plate and wheels. Unfortunately, the semi-gloss black suspension doesn't photograph well against the dark blue body color.

My aim is to have this model done by December 31st, for the contest. Body's painted in a daaaaaaark blue, almost black, by Duplicolor.

Probably gonna be the included Nismo wheels.

djmr2 - I checked reference pics, it ought to be a dark copper/rust look.

dagger

cool well as long as it's the way u like it..

personally i would probably use like a clear orange wash over silver on some parts, and have some clear blue in it too

btw, do you have a paint booth? or still using that big box under the kitchen range hood?

I knew he was up to something... :finger: But I guess you have some time off now so you can concentrate on finishing the model. Finger crossed and good luck!!
