good ol' fashoned friendly race's

I was wondering if anyone around here knew about where I could go to just match up and race for fun with some ol' timers or at least some ppl who arent going to get mad or brag, I remember the old days when we used to race, everyone came as friends and everyone left as friends now a days its all pissed off bumble bee's with their pissed off driver's who may come as friends but leave as enemy's. Don't know if any of you know what im talking about. I know my son races his little honda around here but I think it would be strange for me to pull up with all those kids around in there honda's and what not, in my hemi. I'm not a young guy it would probably be strange and I know my son woulden't enjoy my company. I can't go to the track every other day and I just got it bad for a short drag among friends ya know? if you know of any place let me know.

if you were out here everyone would give you mass respect if you rolled up, and i'd love if you rolled with my crew, but I dont think theres enough gas in the world to get yer mopar out here

I wish you lived closer my friend, my dakota pickup isint as bad on gas as my baby girl but it still makes a dent in my wallet and that's quite a haul, I put her on a trailer. I know it was a compliment and thank you much.

actually If you don't mind racing a honda I have a crx that I'd like to put against your beast? I just checked your like 2 hrs and and a few min away thats nothing. My friends and I don't get mad if we lose, lol.

thats kind of a long drive just for a race don't you think? what are you running in that thing? If you want to race me, I'll be more than happy to oblige but if you think your gonna lose I don't see the point? This post was kinda directed more towards the muscle car crowd not to offend.

I never said that I thought I was going to lose? Just that we were't sore loser's, if you don't want to race thats fine. No harm no foul.
