BMW owner experiences

I'm quite interested in ordering a 2002 325Ci, 5 speed. I've never owned a BMW before and would just like to hear from owners of them. How has the reliability been and also your dealer experiences? Are there any specific areas of problems with 325's or BMW's in general? I have driven a 2001 330 Ci Convertible recently and have driven several other BMW's in the past, I have been highly impressed with them. I appreciate an info that anyone can offer. Thank you.

Hi my names Matthew. I pensonaly haven't got a BMW, but my dad has a 850i. My dad has had alot of BMW's, and I think there the best. I'm saving up for a E30 316i. BMW's are top notch motors, and you will be happy.

I put 174,000 miles on an '89 325i and I still enjoyed driving it the day I sold it for $4500 last month. Never needed to look inside the motor, transmission, or any of the drive train. I drove it hard but with respect. Never added a drop of oil.

Now own a 2002 525i Sport and I've fallen in love with BMW all over again.

That thing about The Ultimate Driving Machine, they're not kidding!!!!!

Don't get that first BMW unless you're willing to be hooked for life.

Lightbulb Grrreat Cars

Hello.
I have a 2000 BMW 323CI right now I bought new 3 years ago. I absolutely love the car. The BMW folks are very nice and they give you another new BMW when your's is in for service. I haven't had any problems with mine at all. However, the "Check Engine Light" does come on every now and then...but that is VERY common with BMWs b/c if you don't tighten the gas cap tight enough, it makes it come on. So...if your out test-driving and that happens...no biggie. I've had alot of cars, and I think BMW (esp. the 3-Series) are the best. And too, I had a 1991 BMW 850CSI V-12 Sports Coupe...that was a wonderful and EXTREMELY powerful car...VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY expensive to have work dont to it! But, the 3-series again, are simply OUTSTANDING.
