Pics of Toyota Altezza RS200

Hey guys, I dug up an Altezza model that I didn't finish. I haven't had the drive to finish up anymore kits. The ITR in the background is the one with the turbo kit and bodykit that still aren't done. The Toyota is I guess the base model of the Altezza. I don't know too much about this car. I just know that the US version i s badged the Lexus IS300. When I bought this kit, I didn't realize that it didn't have the factory bodykit. I didn't see the IS300 kit until 2 months later. When I did see it, the factory kit was out of scale ( the side skirts were too big and seemed to stick out a bit too much) so I made may own out of styrene sheets. It took about 1 1/2 hours to complete the same night I bought the kit. The next day it was primed and painted with Testor's acylic paints. From then on, I got some of the Volk Challenge rims and cut them apart to make a deeper lip on both front and rear wheels( I don't know if you can see in pics, but the rear lip is bit deeper) Oh, and the outer lip is still black and unpainted. These were made simply by cutting the rear of the rim carefully and reshaping the lip to look right. This is the result now as I can't find anymore time to build. Taking pics is a little easier. Hopefully I'll get the Integra done soon. -Walter

FINISH IT!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FINISH IT!!!

I LOVE this car! It's amazing! One of my favorites. Damn, you did so much to it to make it look really nice. Your so lucky, but at the same time, pretty lazy to have started so many kits and just drop them for that so many years...

Really impressive! Finish it PLeAsE!? I really want to see the finished product.:hehe:

Edit: Forgot to ask, its that writing on the rims? I think I can make out a 5 and a 7.

i didn't even see that. Wow! That's strange. They're just scratches, but the lighting and camera must have done something weird. Kinda creepy I think. It's almost done. I just need to paint the interior and undercarraige. Oh I gotta paint the rims too. I'll try to finish this one too. -Walter

Don't you know, it's 10 hp for every sticker, 50 hp extra for every additional inch of rear spoiler behond stock height.
