How do I remove stickers off the side of my MX-3

I just recently bought a MX-3 and I don't like the stickers on the side.

How do I remove them?

Use a very sharp razorblade, and be extremely careful. Thats how i removed the stickers on my car and it left no marks on the paint whatsoever.

Kamikid,

Try this first! Use a hair dryer on low heat and warm the stickers up. You should be able to peel and edge and slowly remove them while using the dryer to keep the decals warm. If low setting is not enough, try a hotter setting and work it the same way!

If you have any residue left, use a little bit of goof off or nail polish remover to help remove the residue! Then wash the area well and apply a little wax to protect these area's!

If you use these chemicals, leave your rag open and flat to dry. Do not crumple it into a ball and leave it laying around. The chemicals as they dry will actually heat themselves as they evaporate and could combust creating a fire!

Re: How do I remove stickers off the side of my MX-3

Could you support a picture of your stickers and the placement on the car. Are they on the paint or plastic?

Is there any molding involved.

usually in these cases you wish to use the least aggressive product or technique to get the job done. I believe a razor blade no matter how careful one is would be asking for trouble. No paint job is as good as the one you got from the OEM.

I would try this product:
http://store1.yimg.com/I/tolae_1811_25283172

It is made by Hi-Temp. a manufacturer which has supplied OEM car manufacturers and bodyshops since 1951. Here is a small blurp:

"Adhesive Remover is a powerful, professional strength formula that strips decals and labels that other products won't budge.
Hi-Temp's adhesive remover is not like the brands you purchase over-the-counter. It's designed for professionals, and dissolves a wide range of adhesives. The list includes stickers, pin striping, decals and even molding."

I use there All in One cleaner and carpet products as well as a few others. Excellent brand, product and price!

CAUTION: This product cannot be used on Plastic!

It can be purchases at Top of the Line. Which I have seen mentioned here on this forum.

You got that right!

I believe the stickers in question are on the painted surface! Hopefully, we can see a picture!

Cheers!
