Honda/Acura tranny issues...

Hey guys...I'll admit I'm a big lurker on this forum so most of you don't know me...but I moderated Acura-TL.com and Acura-CL.com, and now AcuraWorld.com and I'm in the process of making a unified list of people with transmission problems. I was pretty dissatisfied with the NHTSA investigation and have been in contact with Fox News about our plight, but they're only going to be interested if they see there are a lot of us, together, with the same problem. Currently I have the contact and relevant information for 20 people including myself. If anyone is interested in helping, please contact me at my email address: [email protected] . Thanks all,

Austin519

DOC-50N:
No, it's not. It's a plot to get HOA to recognize they have a fatal flaw in our cars that can kill people...admit it, and recall affected cars, that's all.

Unhappy Acura tranny problems

Driving along at 75 miles an hour and the tranny changed itself into first gear----4 times----with no way to get off the highway. In my 34 years of driving, this was the closest to being killed on the road. Now that they have replaced the tranny, how do I know it won't happen again ?
Good luck to everyone driving these things

Dont knock someone whose trying to help others!! I personally am I board and I know we can't bring down the big guys but I want them realize how they are putting peoples lives at risk! I am 8 months pregnant and I was almost killed when my trans went at 50 miles an hour and bucked me to grinding halt!! If that car would have hurt my baby they would have been DONE!
