Is autocad an acceptable way of drawing in these parts?

well i have done a few things like a full v8 engine and animated it, there were wheels, discs calipers, transmission, exhaust and carbs, spark plugs, but the file grw to about 89mb!!! took hrs to animate, lol but i also use paintshop pro as the pic will show!

here's a truck i did while in school (really bad pic).....started as nothin but keepin bust but been working on it off and on....been over a year since i worked on it....had headers and dual exhaust comin out...but computer messed up and i didn't save it but since i'm at work using lite i can't render it...but it has chrome wheels, yellow interior, raised "goodyear" letters on the tires....since my computer died at home....only use cad at work....thought about doing a 3d walk thru of a house i drew

nice...how many layers u used on that dwg?? do u know how to put diffferent surfaces into rmat? i have no clue

i just kept the layering system symple, calipers, wheel, tyre etc. made sure everything was turned into one solid block per item, and any duplicates were coipes, i use architectural desktop and there is a button on the solids modeling bar which allows you to assign a texture to the item, but i prefer clean lines and colours as i am building them up

thats pretty good. i used to draw cars in my drafting calss but i learned that autocad is a faggot program beacuse my teacher tried to make me model a floor plan for a house. so i will stick to ps and max.
