What 240sx has the largest engine bay?

what I"m pretty mcuh tryin to ask is.. whcih one would be easier to through in Skyline or 350Z motor? I'm serisously thining about the 240 or another RWD import.

Skyline engine would fit,V-6 wouldn't cuz it's too wide but if you got the green anything is possible...

i don't see how it couldn't fit a V6, they got a freaking LS1 V8 conversion kit for the car, and the v8 seems to fit snuggly.

V6's can fit. unstable-hybrids.com got a VG30DETT (300ZX Z32 engine) to fit in a 240SX, and those are WIDE engines. a VQ is thinner then a VG because of lack of turbos etc.

A DOHC V6 is way bigger size-wise than a pushrod V8.

I know what its like to change sparkplugs on a LT1 impala LOL... even that is a PITA.

like it they say it will fit...but there is little room in there. should go RB...they fit fine and imo i think they are way better than the VG.

my brother has an impala, he also put on headers.....now he has no Ac cause it doesn't fit with the AC lines......

but nobody has answered the original question........

which 240 has the largest engine bay......

Id vote S14 just by some figures. I hear it is 6" wider then the S13.
Also the s14 doesn't have pop up lights and the engine bay might have a bit more room up front. The S13 has the headlights in the corners and the hood goes up in between them....
