Talking UPS Man came today...
Got my DC Sports ceramic header for the D16y8.... here's pics:

now if only MY header would hurry up and get here ... but it aint a nice legal shiny carb numbered one like that still need mpfi though.

The header with that valve cover will look really nice. Keep the pics of what you get coming and post some when you get it all on.

ci5ic - have you installed your Y8 yet?

i was just wondering if your gonna convert if to obd2?
i found that motor for cheap so i was just wondering if the swap is similar to the Z6.

Nope haven't put the y8 in yet... right now it's in pieces. I'm taking it all apart to get it hot-tanked and replace all the gaskets, and then put it all back together and it goes in...

I'm not converting to OBD2. I'm converting to OBD1, using the z6 distributor and ECU (P28). Also going to get the wiring harness adaptor for the swap from [email protected] for $170, only requires extending 8 wires into the engine bay.

The header is for the y8 once it goes in. I had the valve cover powder-coated locally. Just went to Yahoo Yellow-pages and looked up "powder coating" and it gave me a list of local powder-coating businesses...
