Re: 3.5l V-7 A/C Compressor Rebuild/ Reseal
Krivasauto--
Your simply amazing with your passion to rebuild Intrigue's one part at a time! If anyone on this site is using dialup it's their loss.. Your pictures and help are awesome. I believe A'Zone has a puller that can be rented for pulling of the pulley.. I'm pretty confident that they have it, the question is does it work? That I can't answer. However I think this poster has lived at his local AutoZone with all his Intrigue repairs, so I'm guessing that maybe it doesn't work with the V7 compressor. Could the pully be pulled with the compressor in the car? I'm thinking about people who may have noisy bearings in the clutch assembly. It might be easier than full removal and recharge. Once again thanks!

Hey Krivasauto,
Fantastic thread and pictures. Do you think it is possible to replace shaft seal on the car without removing pulley? Seems like tools needed would be clutch puller and seal puller/installer. |
