Convert 96 Accord to OBD1 possible?

Hey guys...

Let me ask you something. I have an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness that I bought with the intentions of putting in a H22 swap. I won't be swapping until next year.. (now, not even sure if I want a 96 or earlier prelude motor) but anyway, I was wondering if I could use the harness with a 95 VTEC Accord ECU that I just bought which is OBD1 and put a Mugen chip in it? I shouldn't have any problems would I????
