Rallydriver Rocco passed away at Malta

The dutch rallydriver Rocco Theunissen died in a hospital last Saturday on Malta. The 30 year old driver, living in Oud-Turnhout, became two times Belgian champion rally driving in 2000 and 2002. He also won some national titles in The Netherlands.

Nothing about a cause, that's strange. Got to search for more information.

Wow, at only thirty years old!

I remeber seeing in his corolla! RIP Rocco...


And my condoleances to his family, must be hard to see somebody pass away at that young age .

Theunissen dies following heart attack

Victim of an heart attack, Dutch driver Rocco Theunissen died this Saturday in Malte. The 30 years old driver won two times the Belgian championship. Gentleman driver at the beginning of his career, Theunissen quickly became one of the best in the Belgian championship.



Last year Rocco was driving a Corolla WRC for Future World team, the same that Pieter Tsjoen is driving this season.

For this year, Theunissen was driving a Celica GT4, an older car, but Rocco confirmed that his motivation level...



Now we know. Only 30 years, having a heart attack. May he rest in peace
